WOODWARD HIGH SCHOOL BIOLOGY

CLUB MEETING MINUTES
March 2, 2006
Participants: All officers, committee chairs, and faculty sponsor attended.

1. President Marcie Holmquist called the meeting to order at 2:45 p.m.
2. Written reports from the following officers and committee chairs were
distributed, discussed, and approved or accepted (copied are retained
by the secretary);
a. Vice President/Membership Committee Chair-Accepted
b. Treasurer- Approved
c. Secretary- February meeting minutes were approved
d. Fundraising- Accepted
e. Community Service- Accepted
3. This unfinished business was acted upon:
a. Approved candy sale to begin May 1.
b. Approved that the Biology Club care for one mile of State Route
163 as part of the communitys Adopt-A-Highway program.
c. Tabled the recommendation that the Club help support an
international student, pending receipt of additional information.
4. This new business was discussed and acted upon:
a. President Holmquist appointed nominating committee (Sissy
Erwin, Roberta Shawn, and Jim Vance).
b. Approved officers to attend the regional leadership conference at
Great Valley Resort and Conference Center on April 12.
5. The next meeting is April 3 at 2:45 p.m. in Room 103. The meeting was
adjourned at 3:35 p.m.
