GARDEN CLUB COMMITTEE

NAME OF COMMITTEE: Raffle

PURPOSE OF COMMITTEE:
Manage and conduct fundraising raffle (first Mon. in Dec.
through second Mon. In Jan.), with prize being admission to a
pre-determined number of box office events for the current
season. Carry out other raffles throughout the season as
requested by the Garden Club Co-Chairs

MEETINGS:
As needed

SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

 Start-up “bank” of $40.
 Pens, scissors, ream of office paper
 Easel, poster, card table and chairs
 Round, glass container for ticket collection.
 Envelope for cash

TASKS:
1: utilize all methods available to advertise upcoming raffle.
2. Make tickets. Gather equipment.
3. Fund cash for start-up “bank”.
4. Sell tickets at Mon. Coffee, Hot Dog Tuesday, and any other
opportunities. Send email reminders throughout the sale.
5. Draw winning ticket at Mon. Coffee on the 2nd week of Jan.
6. Inform winner and work with Box Office to facilitate ticket
selection and payment.

8. Prepare and submit an annual report.
