Ika : Not yet, this is my first time pregnancy
Bu Ayu : Alright,do you remember when the first day of your lastmenstruation period is?
Ika : Yes, if I am not mistaken, it was on 3 Januari 2022
Bu Ayu : Emm, if i count from the first day of last menstruation, Mrs.already pregnancy 12
week . do you have problem in this pregnancy ?
Ika :Well, I feel like always want to throw up get dizzy. I barelyeat any food lately, and what I
eat is always thrown up and Ifeel like I do not want to eat. It is worst especially in
themorning.
Bu Ayu : That’s what we call morning sickness. It’s a common thing
that happens during the first trimester of pregnancy. So how isit now? Do you still have
morning sickness?
Ika : Yes Midwife Ayu, I still have that morning sickness. It is normal midwife Ayu?
Bu Ayu : Yes It is. It will be over after your wife have her secondtrimester.
Ika : Alhamdulillah, that is all is normal condition
Bu Ayu : Alright.
Ika : So, how many times my wife checks her pregnancy?
Bu Ayu: Examination in pregnancy at least 4 times during pregnancy.1 time at gestation age
before 3 months. 1 times 4 to 6 months'gestation. and 2 times at 7 to 9 months' gestation.
Ika : Oh yeah, What to avoid of my during pregnancy?
Bu Ayu : During pregnancy the mother should not work hard, smokeor exposure to cigarette
smoke, drinking alcohol and drinkingherbs, taking drugs without a doctor's prescription,
excessivestress

Bu Ayu : If your wife has any of the following signs occur, should betaken immediately to the
hospital or health centre, like arefeels ill, swelling of fingers, face and legs, vaginal
bleeding,convulsions, severe headaches with blurred vision, fever andtoo weak to get out of
bed, severe abdominal pain and fast ordifficult breathing.
