The given line graph illustrates the data of the four motivations which led to residents’ movement from

the countryside to the metropolis from 2000 to 2015: employment, study, family/friends and adventure,
respectively.

Overall, it is clear that the number of people moved by adventure cause was the lowest and the figure

for employment reason was always higher than the others throughout the period .The increase in the
mentioned period for study reason was dramatic.

It can be seen from the line graph that in 2000, the number of people moved to the capital city of a
particular country by employment reason hit the highest point, at just over 60,000, about six times [as
much as] the lowest figure for family/friends and adventure causes, just over 10,000. The figure for
study cause was lower, at about 25,000.

In the period [between] from 2000 to 2010, the figure for employment [motivation] experienced a
significant increase to over 90,000, the highest point during the period while a dramatic growth of about
30,000 was seen in the figure for study reason. That for family/friend and adventure reasons were over
20,000 and about 12,000, respectively.

On the other hand, there was a slight decrease to under 90,000 in the data for employment [section] at

the end of the period, compared to only about 15,000 people moved for adventure reason. By contrast,

the year 2015 saw a considerable rise of nearly 45,000 in the figure for study cause to stand at the point

same as employment reason, while that for family/friends rose slightly to about 22,000.
