ELECTROMAGNETIC

WAVES
Jillian Garcia & Kiesha Buraga
HELLO!
Hope everyone's doing great.
WHAT ARE THE REGIONS
OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC
WAVES?
The electromagnetic spectrum consists of different types of
waves called electromagnetic waves or radiations. Each
type occupies a particular range of wavelengths. There are
no gaps in wavelength. They run smoothly from one region
to another.
The electromagnetic waves (EM)
have common properties. here are
some of them:
They carry energy from one place to another.
They do not refuse a medium to travel.
They can travel in a vacuum at a speed of 3 x 108 m/s.
They obey the wave equation v = fλ. They show, reflection,
refraction, absorption, and interference.
They are transverse waves.
