JetBlue Responsibilities JetBlue will:
• Provide training for local trainers to become
designated station trainers
• Will only maintain records for designated JetBlue
Fuel Trainers (TTT)

JetBlue Fueling Policy CFR: Slide 16
• JetBlue Fueling Policy is in accordance with CFR
121.105 and 121.135 (b)(19)
• All refueling, defueling and transferring of fuel on
JetBlue aircraft must be performed in accordance
with the JetBlue Fueling Manual

Review slide emphasize that all fueling procedure must be


in accordance with the JetBlue Fuel Manual
Auto Mode The E190, A320-A321 and A220 Slide 17

• If fueling in any other mode a maintenance

on the transfer switches

Manual Mode The manual mode can be used only: Slide 18

Transferring Fuel When transferring fuel: Slide 20
• The flight crew or a technician needs to be present
to operate the controls in the flight deck
Alternate Fuel Mode Review that anytime a fueler is not able to fuel the aircraft Slide 21
using AUTO mode they must contact JetBlue Maintenance
Control and a technician must be present. Use the
examples listed on the slide to show some discrepancies
that would cause this.
Discrepancies Advise the fuelers that anytime discrepancies are found Slide 22

Fuel Load Due to difference in the operation of each station the local Slide 27

manager how the fuel load will be communicated to them
Fuel Spills All fuel spills must be reported to JetBlue Slide 30
Clean and report all fuel spills as per local regulations
Advice the fueler that a Post Fuel Spill Event Analysis
checklist must be filled out after each spill.

A321 Difference The A321 will be delivered with provisions for two ACT’s. Slide 56
If installed the aircraft will be fueled the same way as the
321. An additional box will be added next to the fuel
panel with the Hi Level Lights and manual valve
operation switches.
The ACT Fuel QTY is displayed in the main fuel panel
(800VU) in the center tank location. To display the qty for
each of the ACT use the selector knob on the (801VU) .
