Tangkuban Parahu is one of several mountains in Bandung, West Java, which has elements of legend.
According to word of mouth legend, that this volcano was created by the anger of a man named
Sangkuriang, who was promised marriage by his biological mother Dayang Sumbi if he could succeed in
the challenge given to him. However, Sangkuriang was deceived by Dayang Sumbi because she betrayed
her promise to marry Sangkuriang. Knowing this, Sangkuriang kicked the boat and it became Mount
Tangkuban Parahu.

This mountain has some active craters around it that release sulfur gas every time, so maybe for some
people it is quite disturbing that is why it is recommended to bring a mask or tissue for everyone who
cannot stand this gas. Using a private car is the easiest way to reach this place. You can reach it through
Setiabudi street until Lembang market. Then take a four junction until you see the gate of Tangkuban
Parahu. The price of the ticket varies based on what vehicle it is. Visitors should pay 13000 per person
and 50000 for foreign tourists. If you take a car, you have to pay 10000/car and 5000/motorcycle. It
opens everyday from 8 am to 6 pm.

Don't forget to bring a jacket or raincoat because the weather conditions are unpredictable. then we can
take pictures of the scenery there as well as be able to capture photos with views of Mount Tangkuban
Parahu in the Ratu Crater. There are also many food stalls and warm drinks to keep the body warm even
though the air is very cold there
