Washington and Lee University has raised its COVID-19 threat level to yellow-mid to yellow-high due to a rise in cases among students resulting from a lack of social distancing, mask wearing, and symptom reporting, as well as a drop in daily student attestations to 60% which has made contact tracing difficult. Students are encouraged to stay safe by keeping six feet apart, wearing masks, and attesting every day by going to wlu.edu/attest to benefit others.
