7 Task Details (Step by step) )‫تفاصيل المهمة (خطوة بخطوة‬

PRE-LIFT REQUIREMENTS ‫متطلبات ما قبل الرفع‬

1) Conduct toolbox talk with all involved personnel, Crane Op, Banksman and Load Handlers. ‫القيام بحديث صندوق العدة مع جميع‬
.‫ مشغل الكرين و رافعي األعالم و مسؤولي الحمل‬،‫األشخاص المعنيين‬
2) Prepare all landing areas required. ‫أعداد جميع مناطق التفريغ المطلوبة‬
3) Barrier off lifting area (All non-essential personnel to be excluded at all times). ‫تحويط منطقة الرفع (أستبعاد األشخاص الغير ضرورين‬

4) Lifting operations are to be controlled & coordinated by the nominated Banksman ‫سيطرة و تنسيق عمليات الرفع من قبل رافع األعالم‬

 THE LIFT ‫الرفع‬

Load: sleepers (concrete support)

Crane Hook – single hook c/w safety latch
Slinging arrangement: 2 x 2 leg chain slings and lifting beam
Activity: Loading / offloading sleepers to / from flatbed truck and then install it in their pets

Ensure crane is set up with full outriggers extended and wheels are clear of the ground.
Ensure all safety alarms are engaged and not disabled
Ensure Operator has carried out his daily checks

Offload and final installation:

1. Loosen load tie down straps (release pressure slowly in case of sudden movement of the load)
2. Two persons to climb onto truck bed and assess load.
3. Assess the access for safe lifting of the spools and personnel
4. Banksman to manoeuvre the crane into position above the centre of the foundations
5. Slingers to attach the lifting arrangement to the foundations,
6. Engage the lifting beam and hold in position,
7. Banksman to signal crane to slowly take up the tension and stop.
8. Tension taken up, (slingers to stand clear or exit truck) foundation is to be hoisted slowly to ensure load is secure.
9. Banksman to signal crane to manoeuvre load to desired final set down location.
10. Hold the load above the final position, under the guidance of the Civil engineer lower into desired position.
11. Release slings from load
12. Repeat steps until truck is clear of material.

LOADING

13. Banksman to manoeuvre the crane into position above the centre of the foundation
14. Slingers will hold the hook of the lifting arrangement
15. Engage the lifting beam and hold in position,
16. Take up the tension, Load to be hoisted slowly to ensure load is secure.
17. Hoist load, banksman to signal crane to manoeuvre load to the truck bed
18. Land load gently on to truck bed and hold.
19. Two personnel to climb onto truck bed to secure the load
20. Once secured lower off and remove the lifting arrangement
21. Hoist the lifting arrangement clear and manoeuvre into position above the next foundation
22. When the final foundation is in position, secure the load to the truck bed.
23. Repeat steps to load the truck

Tag lines must NEVER be attached to the sling or hook. Attach to foundation only
