1 MAY 25-JUNE 1, 2020 Final draft submission of • 1 hard copy signed by supervisor should be brought to the panel on the day of defence.

2 JUNE 8-12, 2020 Oral presentation Format of the presentation will be as follows:
• 1 member of the group will do a PowerPoint presentation in 10 minutes. The group will
decide on who presents. Slides should be a maximum of 10. A template of the
presentation will be circulated to all groups
• The other group members will answer questions in 10 minutes.
• The group should come with the signed copy of their work as approved by supervisor.
3 JUNE 15-19, 2020 Final submission to Students are required to submit to the department:
Department • 2 hard copies of the final dissertation signed by the supervisor
• Attach the front page of the final Turnitin report to the 2 copies
• The Dept will confirm the similarity index on the Turnitin report online before
acceptance
• A soft copy of the final work should be emailed in word format to the department
through the Dept. of Accounting email address:

5 JUNE 25, 2020 Upload of Project Work results by Dept
6 JULY 1, 2020 Onwards Signing of clearance The department will not sign the clearance sheet of students:
• Whose dissertation does not meet the University minimum similarity index of 20%
• Who have unresolved issues regarding their results in the online student MIS
NOTE: PLAGIARISM IS AN OFFENCE.
DISSERTATIONS THAT DO NOT MEET THE ACCEPTABLE SIMILARITY INDEX OF 20% OR LESS WILL BE
REJECTED
