A. Preliminaries (5 mins)

B. ACTIVITY (10 mins)


Task 1: Photo Flash – Learners are tasked to identify the photos
being flashed. These are pictures of books, magazines, newspapers,
encyclopedias, social media apps, etc.
How important are these materials to you?
When do you usually use these materials?

Task 2: Pretest: Tell whether the statement is true or false.


1. The author’s name, title of publication and the name of the publisher
are some information to be collected when preparing a bibliography.
2. The first entry in a book bibliography is the author’s first name.
3. Each bibliography entry should end with a question mark.
4. Standard formats and examples for basic bibliographic information
are recommended by the American Business Association (ABA)
5. Preparing a bibliography ensures that the author is not plagiarizing
information and that credit is given to those writers.

C. ANALYSIS (15 mins)


Task 3: Defining bibliography
Arrange the following words and phrases correctly to form the
definition of bibliography.

Task 4: Article Snapshot: The learners will look into the sample of
bibliographical entries in different reference materials.
