ToTR Tier List + Character Analysis

TIER LIST
(PLAYER CONTROL)
Notice: Tier List will no longer be updated, as I’m now working
on a better and a more indepth character analysis instead. Go
here to see it while I work on it.
Disclaimer: This tier is made for fun based on my views of the characters, so please do not take this to seriously
and let this tier list affect your enjoyment of playing as your waifu/husbando.
Explanation of what each tier represents:
S - Extremely viable in a lot of situations (heck, even outside anima sync), and has one or two absurdly strong
tactics that make the character stand out.
A - Excellent chars that are the best options to be used whenever their sync gets to be relevant.
B - Are okay to use, but are somewhere in the middle.
C - The meh ones. They either don’t have any remarkably amazing feature, or their super good tools are dug
beneath their weakness.
???(Unknown) - Tier for character that still needs more information on their combat performance for being new,
and not a lot of people have their equipment. Most likely to be the newest story chapter characters, or just aren’t
available on WW yet.
(All of this tier list is based on scenario where the characters have optimum build. None of the characters in this
game are bad, so the lowest I can possibly go is C. Also, I don’t recommend using offsync S or A tier chars
offsync. The effect of anima sync is just too huge to skip over.)

Optimal Arte information:


Bold means obligatory artes, essential to make the character function perfectly.(Emphasis on perfectly.
You don’t have to be perfect to make a character playable.)
Non bold means it is significant, but not to be somewhat obligatory..
All artes that don’t have any specific information on where to obtain means that they are from the normal gacha.
Terminologies:
OTG(Off The Ground)-Gets enemy back up from being knocked down
KD(Knock Down)-Knocks enemy down.
Dash-goes through the enemy to the other side, which gives the character invincibility frame while doing so.
IS(Iron Stance) break-Has the capability to break through Iron Stance.
