1. Look for other products of nanotechnology. Paste the pictures on the space provided. Give at least 5
examples (5 points)
NANOTECHNOLOGY

a. Think of a nanotechnology product which can be manufactures and will be useful in your field of
interest/course. If you were scientist, how will you proceed with the process? You can do a
library or internet research to be guided. Place your nanotechnology product on the space
provided. (10 points)

“My NANOTECHNOLOGY Product”

Nanomaterials and nanotechnology have the potential to assist us in reaching the goals. Soon, the
use of nanoparticles in furniture may reduce the need for adhesives and functional textiles. I
believe that putting nanotechnology in woods, especially for houses, would be beneficial since the
wood's material includes nanotechnology that makes it less combustible and harder. As a result, it
has a lower flammability, making the consumers feel more comfortable and protected.

2. Do you think nanotechnology cause health risks? Justify your answer by citing specific references. (5
points)
- Nanotechnology is expected to have a huge impact in the future since it allows materials to be
constructed atom by atom. As a result, new materials that are more suited to the task at hand may
be produced in the future. Nanotechnology offers a wide range of applications, however most of
them are still in their early stages. The environment, as well as the health and well-being of
employees and the broader public, are all unknown. Nanoparticles can enter the body through the
skin, lungs, and digestive system. Nanoparticles have the potential to injure the lungs.
Nanotechnology can harm your health if you don't take measures, therefore see a doctor before
using it.

3. In any technology pose are ethical considerations, suggest ways for nanotechnology. Explain your
answer. (5 points)
- We all know that having nanotechnology in our environment is beneficial to us and that it is the way
of the future, yet they are currently posing a risk to our human life. I think that certain of the items
that pose a risk to us should be stopped from being sold or promoted until they are safe and secure.
Nanotechnology will continue to advance and improve the world as a result of this.

4. How can nanotechnology address problems in the environment, health, and economy? Explain your
answer. (5 points)
- In terms of the environment, nanotechnology has both beneficial and bad effects, and it may be
used to enhance water quality. Some of the nanomaterials that can be used to treat water are listed
below. Because nanotechnology is so new to the environment, there aren't many research on it,
and we still don't know how harmful it is to the ecosystem. To increase the capacity to target
specific cells or tissues, nanotechnology can be used with medications or diagnostic compounds.
These materials are safe to use in the body because they are made on a microscopic scale.
Nanotechnology has many advantages, including improved manufacturing, water purification,
energy systems, physical enhancement, nanomedicine, improved food production, nutrition, and
auto-fabrication of large-scale infrastructure.
