 Steps for design of axially loaded columns.

Q2. Design a lighting column subjected to an axial compression force 40 KN, using a CHS
(circular hollow section) cross section in S 275 steel, according to EC3-1-1. The
column is fixed at the base and free from the other end. With length of 3 m./ 10 marks
