WHAT IS A REFLECTIVE PAPER??

 What Is a Reflection Paper? A reflection paper is a type of paper that requires you to write your
opinion on a topic, supporting it with your observations and personal examples.

 A reflective paper is a paper in which you contemplate a specific topic and share your thoughts
with the reader. It usually has a personal tone and is written in the first person.

A) Please incorporate the following guideline in your report:

 Table of content

 Introduction (Highlight issue) (First impression)

 Here you may want to write a brief statement of what your essay is about as well as
how the specific person, place, experience or news has influenced you. It must be brief
only because you are going to explain further later.
 It is usually a few words or a phrase that summarizes the subject of your paper.
 At times you may want to support your introduction with detailed supporting
evidence that will interest your readers and motivate them to continue reading the
paper.
 What is the concept, idea or theory you are reflecting on.

 Body / Analysis (experiential evidence)

 The first sentence in your body paragraphs should make the reader excited about
reading the entire story.
 The body paragraphs should examine the ideas and experiences you've had in context
to your topic. Make sure each new body paragraph starts with a key idea. If you are
writing about a book or an academic article, your reflection may include quotes and
passages.
 Are there aspects you found particularly interesting or challenging? Does it tie in with
anything you have learned in the past? Has it changed the way you think, or affirmed
something you already knew?

points on why and how your attitudes and behaviours have been changed.
 What else might you need to find out? Do you have any questions? How might you
incorporate or apply these ideas in the future, perhaps in your professional life?
