INTRODUCTION

Objectives

1. To know the importance of livelihood programs to Persons Deprived of Liberty as


Implemented to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in San Juan City.

2. To assess the effectiveness of livelihood programs for the rehabilitation of Persons Deprived
of Liberty.

3. To know how Livelihood programs affect the behavior of Persons Deprived of Liberty inside
the Jail Management.

SELECTION OF PARTICULAR CASE IN THE FIELD

The researcher selected this particular study in order to know the importance of
Rehabilitation strategies implemented at BJMP Nationwide especially the Skills Training
Program and Livelihood programs, and to assess the effectiveness of this program for
the Persons Deprived of Liberty.
