Social Networking Sites Ways to use the social networking site as an educational tool

Facebook Posting some videos on my wall about different examples of Reading a Loud. Let
set it into public so that many students and teachers can access and to be their
preferences on their learning and teaching.
Twitter Uploading social issues using hashtags and let the students react and retweet to
the post. And the students have a freedom to speak out their voices regarding to
the issues.
LinkedIn Creating student’s account so that the students can connect to other professional
that can help to their mental health awareness and learn from it.
Google+ Google Calendar can be used in time management in scheduling submission or
deadlines, to do lists, events and other important matters in different subjects
and let the particular teacher will connect to your calendar as their schedule also.
Youtube Watching YouTube videos about force, motion and energy and let the students
write their learning insights and reflection of what they have watched. After that
students will have an individual sharing in front of the class.
Pinterest Referring to Pinterest if the students are researching the history of Big Bang
Theory because they are a lot of pictures and information in Pinterest and they
could create Suffragist Board.
Instagram Showcasing the student’s work on their writing poems about environment
where the students can be recognized and as a way of parents to keep track of
their children’s progress and what are the skills they have.
Tumblr Sharing content on Tumblr about tempo and let the students share their favorite
songs they like and after that, the teacher will let the students identify what type
of tempo they have shared.
MySpace Creating of profile of each student and let the students connect to other people or
their classmates to share their ideas about the importance of a balanced diet.
Flickr Let the students upload their individual videos about on how to wash hand
properly.
Bebo Blogging is a great way to encourage students express their experiences in the
previous typhoons on what to do before, during and after. This could be the way
to develop the student’s writing skills.
