1 OPENING ADDRESS

1.1 The chairperson expressed her gratitude to all members present.

3. AGENDA

3 .1 DSKP and Syllabus

The chairperson remind all teachers to print out the QR code for DSKP and the
Shceme of work (SOW) and put it into RPH file.

3.2 Lesson Plan

3.2.1 The Chairperson emphasized on the use of standard lesson note for all teachers.

3.2.2 The Chaiperson also reminded that reflections has to be written by hand with blue
pen.

3.2.3 Provide a sample of lesson note according to the level .

3.2.3.1 Year 4 and 5 will be using the same template as the previous one.
3.2.3.2 Year 1, 2, 3 & 4 will be using the same template.
3.2.3.3 Year 1 & 2 teachers are suggested to print the original Scheme of Work and
share with the teachers of the same level. Do not use the simplified version.

3.2.4 Civic lesson will be carried out on the fourth week of every month. It should be
started on Mach 2023.

3.3 Exercise books

3.3.1 The Panel decided on using 3 books for level 2 and 2 exercise books for level 1.

3.3.2 The Panel have decided to label the exercise book; English 1 , 2 and 3. The details
are as follow:

LEVEL BOOKS
Level 1 ( Year 1, 2 and 3) English 1 and English 2.
Level 2 ( Year 4, 5 and 6) English 1, English 2 and writing book.

3.3.3 The panel also decided on using yellow sticker to label exercises books.

3.3.4 The Chairperson suggested the teachers to emphasize on pupils penmanship.

3.4 Workbooks

3.4.1 The Panel has decided to use workbooks for year 1 to Year 6 pupils as stated in
previous meeting.

3.4.2 The panel also decided to buy module for Morning programme in classroom.

3.5 PLC/ LET

3.5.1 The Panel has decided to carry out PLC every Thursday 12.00 pm to 1.pm.

3.5.2 The chairperson suggested each teacher to take turns to conduct the session.

3.6 English panel Programme

3.6.1 The Panel has decided on few programme throughout the year.The details are as
follow:

3.7 Budget.

3.7.1 The Chairperson highlights on the PCG for English panel for this year is Rm827.97.
3.7.1 The panel has decided to buy Big Book for level 1, board games and vocabularies
charts for level 2.

3.8 English Enrichment Environment

3.8.1 To enrich English environment among the pupils at school, all teachers are agreed
to have 2 minutes spelling, 2 to 3 words before the class start.
3.8.2 The panel has agreed to have English Zone that will be re-branded as ‘Hot Spot
Zone’ where pupils search for information in English.

4.0 High Immersive Programme

4.1 All teachers agreed to promote HIP programme to pupils.

4.2.1 The Chairperson will prepare relieve module for teachers.

4.2.2 The Chairperson insists teachers to prepare programme for remedial pupils.

4.2.3 Teachers have to mark exercise and activity books regularly.

4.2.4 Teachers are urged to check on Transit Record for PBD before key in the data.
