Greetings!

MINDS is glad to invite you to the World Young Inventors Exhibition (WYIE) that will be held concurrently at ITEX
2022 (the 33rd International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition) from 26-27 May 2022 at Kuala Lumpur
Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia.

WYIE is organized by MINDS (Malaysian Invention and Design Society) which will be an overarching event for ITEX’s
two (2) annual flagship shows for budding inventors: Asian Young Inventors Exhibition (AYIE) and Malaysian Young
Inventors Exhibition (MYIE) taking on a new life driven by better and bigger incredible ideas.

With the objective to encourage creativity in young inventors, all inventions will be recognized through the WYIE
invention challenge. Participants are eligible to win trophies and medals. All participants will receive a certificate of
merit. Participation in WYIE is open to 3 categories namely:
a) Primary (students aged 12 years old and below - as at 1st January 2022);

b) Secondary (students aged between 13 - 17 years old - as at 1st January 2022)

c) Tertiary (students aged between 18 - 22 years old - as at 1st January 2022)
