On behalf of Association of Science, Technology and Innovation and Young Inventors Challenge 2023 Working
Group Committee, we would like to inform that the holder of this testimonial has successfully completed Phase
One: The Student’s Proposal Submission for Young Inventors Challenge 2023. The theme of this year’s YIC is
“Sustainable Development Goals”.

Young Inventors Challenge is a competition for the secondary school students and is open to teams of up to 2 - 5
people. By participating in YIC, the participants would gain the following skills:
1. Develop creative and innovative thinking skills.
2. Develop teamwork dynamics to solve problems.
3. Use resources such as the internet, library and experts to hone their research skills.
4. Learn to document their invention project.
5. Enhance self-esteem and confidence.

Phase One: The Student’s Proposal Submission; We had received 508 proposals from 571 registrations from 9
countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, United Kingdom, India, Sri Lanka and
Uganda.

We wish for the participants to keep the momentum going past YIC and continue their work to be a useful
member of their community.
