COURSE DESCRIPTION

Organization and Management Concepts


This course aims to provide an introduction to the essentials of management and
organizational behavior. Students will develop an understanding of the pillars of
management such as planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, as well as how
organizations leverage their resources to achieve their goals. The objective is to
give students an overview of the field of management and provide insights into
organizational structure.

Business Process Management


This course looks at ways in which business processes can be analysed, redesigned,
and improved. Business process management (BPM) is concerned with the concepts,
methods, and
techniques that support the design, administration, configuration, enactment, and
analysis of business processes. Students of this course will help students gain
understanding on business process from a general management perspective, and learn
tools, analytical frameworks and general principles
for managing business processes.

Evaluation of Business Performance


This Course is intended to provide the student with the experience in assessing
information systems and the different tools to be used in conducting system
evaluaiton. It will discuss topics such as data warehousing, KPI/KRA, business
intelligence and quality metrics.
