INCIDENCE OF BULLYING
The students themselves apologize to one another and make commitments to correct
their conduct and improve themselves. This demonstrates how they regret what they
committed, didn't mean to hurt their classmates, and instead were merely carried away by
their emotions.
SCHOOL HAZARDS
The schools are vulnerable to multiple types of man-made or natural hazards. Some
of the frequently experienced ones are typhoons, and the rare but impactful are earthquakes.
In consonance with DepEd Order No.21 s. 2015, all schools are directed to form
SDRRM Committee to spearhead the conduct of related programs, projects, activities to
establish a culture of safety in their respective schools. The composition of the SDRRM Team
shall be aligned to DepEd Order 37 s.2015 which are prevention and mitigation,
preparedness, response and rehabilitation
For the past 6 years, here in Laur West Elementary School the incidences reported
were typhoons and earthquake and luckily there were no occurred and reported damages at
all. Quarterly Earthquake dills were also conducted to equip the knowledge of our dear
learners on what to go before, during and after a disaster happens.

The mental health of learners can affect their education, social life and emotional
well-being. Students struggling with mental health may experience more significant
challenges throughout school while those not struggling may have a greater zest for their
education, social, experiences and more.
In Laur West Elementary School, the psychosocial support activities are imperative in
promoting, protecting and prioritizing the teachers and learners’ socio-emotional well-being as
they transition back to in-person classes. Providing MHPSS in education enhances academic
learning, helping students to develop coping skills in the face of adversity. We recognize that
quality education needs to be tailored and relevant to the variety of education contexts we
work in.
The DepEd Order No.32 s. 2019 or the National Policy Framework on Learners
and School as Zones of Peace states that “Schools, as general rule, should be free from the
presence of armed combatants, whether they be from government forces or armed groups”.
Through the support of our various stakeholders and partners we must always adhere to ensure
that guidelines on School as Zones of Peace are observed.
As of 2017, Laur West Elementary School was also an advocate of the School as
Zones of peace. The school also ensured the safety of all learners at all times.

SCHOOL-BASED MANAGEMENT
The Laur West Elementary School has been engaged in thinking about best practices. It is
generally used to describe those instructional approaches and techniques that improve children's
reading development. In short, these practices have acquired evidence over time that if used with
fidelity, children are likely to become proficient in reading. Finally, it demands good pacing and
classroom organization carefully calibrated to maximize the use of instructional time.
PARTNERSHIPS
Describe the partnership program of your school. How many sustained partners does
the school have. What were the contributions of the internal and external stakeholders.
