This study aims to describe the existence of the Topeng Ireng dance of the Turonggo
Mudo group in Pangkalan Tiga village and to find out the aesthetic values of the Topeng Ireng
dance of the Turonggo Mudo group.

This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method approach to collect data
obtained from documentation (recorders, literature, cameras), observations, and interviews.

Based on the data obtained and after being analyzed, the presentation of the Topeng Ireng
dance of the Turonggo Mudo group in Pangkalan Tiga Village is the Topeng Ireng dance that has
been created and is highly developed both in terms of movement, musical accompaniment and
costumes used so that it is very clear the function of the Topeng Ireng dance of the Turonggo
Mudo group. this is as entertainment. The author hopes that the Turonggo Mudo community will
always maintain and develop the art of Topeng ireng dance in order to continue to preserve the arts
of the archipelago from generation to generation.
