I am extremely passionate about data analysis and have been

self-learning using free online resources as I am unable to afford paid courses in my present economic
situation. Although I have learned a lot from these free courses and received several certificates, most
employers I have approached did not consider these free certifications to be sufficient for a data
analytics role. So, when I learned Dataleum Analytics Scholarship Boot camp, I knew I had to apply. I
believe it will increase my prospects of getting an entry-level job or a paid internship in Data Analytics.

As someone who majored in accounting in the university, I am familiar with the importance of collecting
and analysing data. It is no doubt that Data Analytics opens up lots of opportunities for one’s career as
data scientists and analysts are some of the most well-paid jobs in the world.

Attending this bootcamp will not only give me a new career path, but also give me the opportunity to
fuse the new skills I would have learned with my accounting background, giving me an edge over my
peers in the same field. Through this boot camp, I will gain a better understanding of how data is used
and how it impacts our business and industry, in order to help make better decisions.

I read that the boot camp includes several practice assignments and a project, doing which would be
immensely beneficial to the improvement of my practical skills in this area.

By the end of this boot camp, I would also be more confident to dive deep into data science and take on
further challenging assignments, which I believe would greatly help me in my future career development
and in finding a job in data science.
