TYPICAL FOOD
There is a wide variety of typical Chilean dishes,
which are gradually being lost in gastronomy.
Rolled Huaso
When a pig is ready to be slaughtered after a long
fattening, winter hits the door of the houses in the
south, therefore, almost all the animal is used to kill
the cold and celebrate a Saint in mid-June.
Conger chowder
Pablo Neruda dedicated an ode to him and by the
way, made him famous, especially in Isla Negra,

nogada casserole

Chorillana
Born in the port of Valparaíso, the dish is based on

America, however in Chile is where the pine or
finely chopped onion empanada, with meat, egg and
raisins, was born. The Sunday empanada is a
tradition that very few Chileans resist
humitas
Humita is one of the oldest Chilean dishes, although
there are similarities in Peruvian and Ecuadorian
cuisine. They arose from the abundance of corn in
the summer, a little ingenuity and a lot of flavor in a
natural container, using the same leaves of the cob,
to wrap the pulp of corn, onion, garlic and basil that
gives it the flavor and contagious joy
