CHILE

Chile is the largest producer of copper in the world

and is also the main product exported by the
country. Chileans are also leaders in the export of
salmon and grapes. The Chilean economy is
internationally known as one of the strongest in the
continent, and one of the main agricultural products
of this country is cereal, oats, corn, wheat, fruits and
vegetables and has reached historic levels by
opening its doors to the Asian market and one of the
most recognized sports is the Chilean rodeo

TYPICAL FOOD
There is a wide variety of typical Chilean dishes,
which are gradually being lost in gastronomy.
Rolled Huaso
When a pig is ready to be slaughtered after a long
fattening, winter hits the door of the houses in the
south, therefore, almost all the animal is used to kill
the cold and celebrate a Saint in mid-June.
Conger chowder
Pablo Neruda dedicated an ode to him and by the
way, made him famous, especially in Isla Negra,
where the poet lived. However, caldillo is served
throughout the central coast of Chile and even a little
further south in Talcahuano.
nogada casserole
The casserole is not an exclusively Chilean dish, but
in the El Almendral sector, in the province of
Chacabuco and close to Los Andes, the Ave Nogada
Casserole is prepared. Ingenious and creaturely dish,
to spend long love affairs or celebrations, or to
replenish energy after a long trip.
Chorillana
Born in the port of Valparaíso, the dish is based on
potatoes, finely sliced onions, longaniza, steak and
one or two fried eggs as a crown.
pine patties
Empanadas cover almost all the cuisines of Latin
America, however in Chile is where the pine or
finely chopped onion empanada, with meat, egg and
raisins, was born. The Sunday empanada is a
tradition that very few Chileans resist
humitas
Humita is one of the oldest Chilean dishes, although
there are similarities in Peruvian and Ecuadorian
cuisine. They arose from the abundance of corn in
the summer, a little ingenuity and a lot of flavor in a
natural container, using the same leaves of the cob,
to wrap the pulp of corn, onion, garlic and basil that
gives it the flavor and contagious joy
