Would the treatment of Victor be different if he was discovered during the era of asylum?

During the early beginning of Special Education?

Answer: Yes, because as I saw in the video that I’ve watched. There was a two doctors that examined
Victor, the first doctor said, Victor was an incurable idiot and the Second one leave him in the middle of
the school and surrendered to continue the examine. But for Jean Marc Gaspard Itard a young medical
student believes that two things must be separated from humans to animals: Language and Empathy.
But as I answer the question, for me the threat for Victor would be different during the era of asylum
because not all of the doctors at that time has enough tools to examine the case of Victor. Only few
people would understand the situation of Victor and other people would treat him as an outcast in their
society. And also when we talk about the early beginning of Special Education it’s the same that few
educator can understand and have patience on Victor because he’s situation is also difficult and you
need to risk a time and effort to see the improvement and capabilities of Victor. And that was Itard do to
help Victor.
