To familiarize everyone about the concept of the definition of what Environmental
Studies are for including its objectives, importance, and benefits in overall.
To acquire information such as facts and trivias related to Environmental Studies.
To showcase the importance of Environmental Studies in our daily lives.
To relate the topic of Environmental Studies in our selected course including some
real-life creation.
➢ How as a student with based on your selected course help to solve problems in
environmental issues and help it improve for better use?
➢ As a student what framework or solutions should you voice out to the public or
society to improve the response for the environmental issues?
Over the past decades, environmental problems have attracted enormous attention
and public concern. Many actions have been taken by Environmental Protection
Agency and others to protect human health and ecosystems from particular threats.
Despite some successes, many problems remain unsolved and new ones are emerging.
Increasing population and related pressures, combined with a realization of the
interconnectedness and complexity of environmental systems, present new challenges
to policymakers and regulators. To move on with the main topic, the Environmental
Studies are the study of human interaction with the environment and in the interests of
solving complex problems. Environment includes which we are directly or indirectly
dependent for our survival, whether it is living component like animals, plants or non-
living component like soil, air and water. With the Environmental Studies, the
following are its main importance: (a) People have to clarify modern environmental
concept like how to conserve biodiversity. (b) Usage of natural resources more
efficiently. (c) Try to know the sustainable way of living. Lastly, the field encompasses
study in basic principles of ecology and environmental science, as well as associated
subjects such as ethics, geography, policy, politics, law, economics, philosophy,
environmental sociology and environmental justice, planning, pollution control and
natural resource management.
