This program is based on the framework of the National Model of the American School Counseling Association (ASCA).
School counselors use the ASCA standards to assess student growth and development, guide the development of strategies and
activities, and create a program that helps students achieve their highest potential. All 35 standards can be applied to any of the
three domains: academic, social/emotional, and college/career. You will find this curriculum vertically aligned to reflect a
continuity of services throughout a students' time here at Mother McAuley, beginning with freshman year and culminating with
graduation.
