Objective of Effective Communication – Listening Skills

 To show interest, concern, and focus.

o when we show interest in the information presented, the individual who is

giving the information will feel happy and happy in giving information about
something. In addition to that, the attitude of showing interest in listening to
something can increase the motivation of that person's presentation.

 To encourage speakers to communicate fully, openly, and honestly.

o Some of their speakers will finish their talk as soon as possible due to the
audience's lack of enthusiasm. most likely the speaker will do it casually or
just for the objective of the talk. therefore, showing a sense of interest in the
given talk is essential. it is to ensure that all the things conveyed are
interesting, sincere, and open in their delivery. they will also feel happy with
this good responsive attitude.

 To develop an unselfish approach, putting the speaker first.

o It aims for the information to be conveyed to the recipient with a full

understanding of a matter. apart from it also ensuring that the delivery is
effective or not against the recipient. if the information reaches the recipient
and the informant can make a unanimous decision on any matter discussed.
