● Conduct quality lessons with students for potential enrollment
● Complete admin tasks pre and post FT lessons
● Keep seamless communication with Team Leads/Admin
regarding concerns, issues, etc.

Scheduling
FTE schedules can be between:
• FULL TIME
• PART TIME
Slots Opening
● After choosing to adhere to the schedule provided, the corresponding slots
will be auto-plotted on your Mypage
● Once slots are plotted and tagged as FT Reserved, these slots may not be
closed unless there is an emergency
● Plotting will be done per cut-off
● Unbooked slots will be eligible for the guaranteed fee
● Slots for FT lessons should not be opened on Mypage

FT slots replotting
 Contact Teacher Support (Coaches) if your page gets locked because of Regular Lessons. After
the unlocking, contact your FT Team Lead immediately to open your FT slots.
 Contact your FT Team Lead if your page gets locked because of Free Trial Lessons, they are the
ones who will open your FT slots after the unlocking.

Protocols
Things to remember:
● Leave request/s must be submitted at least one cut-off in advance.
● Never be away from your computer/laptop. Anticipate late bookings.
● You can also be booked outside FT shifts. Anticipate late bookings.
● ZTPs apply in FT lessons.
● Always put your best foot forward. Be prepared and maintain energy.
● Have the 51Talk tarp or Digitarp as your background. Avoid clutter.
● Always be professional. Wear the 51Talk shirt during your lessons, hair must be neatly
combed or tied back away from your face. Female teachers should put some powder
and wear lipstick (avoid garish colors). Male teachers should be clean shaven.
● Reliability: Have a back up power supply and ISP.
● Maintain constant communications with your Team leads. Other leads can be tapped if
your leads are not around.

FAQs
1. Will there be a penalty in case of power interruption/internet issues when there are booking /
reserved FTs? - Waived penalty if this area wide power outage or ISP issue. Normal penalty if not.
2. Can we open additional regular teaching slots outside FT slots? - Yes
3. For dress codes, is it a must to wear neckties, blazers and scarves? – 51Talk shirt will be okay
4. Is Max tarp required, or white with Digitarp will do? – Both are accepted.
5. How many leaves are allowed in the project? – No limit as long as notification is before the new
cut-off begins. Max of 2 consecutive leaves or emergency leaves per cut-off. All leave requests
are subject for approval.
6. In case of canceled leaves, can I open FT slots myself? - For cancelled leave/s, notify admin/team
lead so we can identify if the plotted slots are FTR or not.
7. Is it a requirement to be tagged as Global teacher in FTE? No. The choice is yours, though it is
recommended to have the tagging. Your Team Lead can have you tagged.
8. Can we have 51talk merch for the project? Yes. You can forward your requests to your Team
leads. The merch is free though you need to shoulder the shipping fee.
