THE TRAINING EXPERIENCE

FIRST DAY

On our first day of work immersion. Since it can't be difficult to meet new people, I was
extremely anxious. I'm afraid they'll be disappointed because they have high expectations of us.
However, during our orientation, I discovered that they are not that type of person. They are
exceptionally nice, friendly, and warm-hearted people, particularly Vice Mayor Hon. Randy C.
Cambe. Every department talked about what to do and how they were doing it. On our first day,
we are accompanied by Ma'am Lanie Marcos and Emz Domingo. With the assistance of Ma'am
Rachel Maguddayao, they accompanied us to our assigned department. The vice president's
office or department has been assigned to us. The secretary called us to speak with us and learn
more about us. The first thing that I do is clean the tables and organizing their things. They
instructed us on what to do when there is an applicant, then they told us to interview people who
are seeking financial assistance for burial and medical. Then a few minutes to go there is a lady
who is asking for help with burial assistance. Then Mr. Godfrey asked me to interview the
applicant, he gave me the form for financial assistance. during the interview, I fill up the form for
her. Then Ms. Jessica asked me to assist the applicant to go to the DMSWD office. Then after
that, Ma'am Jessica asked me to go to the HR office to give a document to have the proper order
received. After that, I returned to the office, and Ms. Jessica ordered me again to go to the
engineering office to give documents to Eng. Elmer Addun.

March 17, 2023 Friday

SECOND DAY

On the second day of work immersion. We arrived early at the municipality. We waited for
the VM secretary to come in. Following that, we cleaned the office. Then we helped them in
preparing for the surprise raffle of the VM for the Women's Month celebration. We rolled up
papers that we will raffle off to those who participated in the contest. Then we went to VM's
house to put stickers on the prizes. then we went back to the office when we got up to cut papers
to roll again. At exactly 1 pm they invited us to attend the program at the WCSAT gymnasium.
A large number of guests attended as well. We watched a Zumba dance by each barangay; 30
barangays participated in the competition, and their costumes were beautiful, with Darna,
cowgirl, recycle, and many others. Ms. Jessica asked me to take a picture of Sir Randy Cambe
during his speech. After the 22nd contestant arrived, and we started to draw among the women,
Ms. Jessica was with me to draw, and when the draw was over, I went home.

March 20, 2023 Monday

THIRD DAY

On the third day of work immersion. We arrived early at the municipality again. We
attendant the flag ceremony. And we waited for Ma’am . Jessica to open the office. The first
thing that I do is clean the tables and organizing their things and wiping the windows. After a
few moments, there is an applicant requesting financial assistance for medical expenses, and it
was I who interviewed the applicant. After that Sir Randy asked me to call Ma’am Garret during
the arrangement because he has something important to say. I then returned to the office and
after that they ordered us to organize papers for the Vargas scholar per barangay; there are many
papers and documents that we need to organize; we were very busy that day because we had
thirty barangays to organize. That is exactly what we did all day.

March 21, 2023 Tuesday

FOURTH DAY

On the fourth day of work immersion. We arrived at the municipality early. and we
waited for Ma’am. Jessica to open the office. As usual the first thing that I do is clean the tables
and organizing their things and cleaning the comfort room. After that Ma'am Jessica asked us to
go to the various offices to distribute the letters from the vice mayor's office. We went to all of
the offices, and all of the employees were courteous. After delivering the letters, after a few
moments, there is an applicant requesting financial assistance for medical and burial expenses
Ma’am Jessica and Sir Godfrey were busy at the time, so Juide and I assisted with interviewing
the applicants because we insisted on doing so. After that we insist to do the task that we didn’t
finish yesterday, so we continue with the arrangements for the Vargas scholar. That is exactly
what we did all day.

March 22, 2023 Wednesday

FIFTH DAY

On the fifth day of work immersion. The first thing that I do is clean the tables and
organizing their things. That day they assigned us a new task which is to edit those pictures of
Vice Mayor. Pictures from different countries he visited, many pictures that comes from the
different countries there are 12 countries that he visited, and they asked us to edit their pictures
for vlog, it comes to 1vlog 1 country. There are a lot of applicants who are asking for financial
assistance during the editing process, so we need to stop for a while because we are the ones who
will interview the applicants who are asking for financial assistance, after the interview we went
back for editing, after the editing we insist on continuing the paper for the Vargas scholar after
editing because it is not yet finished.

March 23, 2023 Thursday

SIX DAY

On the six day of work immersion. We arrived at the municipality early. and we waited
for Sir Excel to get the office keys because Ma’am Jessica couldn't come that day. As usual the
first thing that I do is clean the tables and organizing their things and cleaning the comfort room.
There isn't much work that day because we finished arranging those Vargas Scholar papers, so
we're just waiting for applicants to come because we're supposed to be the ones to interview.
Following that, there is an applicant requesting financial assistance for burial. and I am the one
who conducts the interview. Sir Godfrey asked me to write down the location for their next
destination after the interview. After that we're just waiting for applicants to come.
