It is claimed that there are more and more professionals, like doctors and teachers, are leaving their

own underdeveloped countries to work in developed countries. In this essay, I will be discussing the
causes of this problem, which are the difficulty of the economy in developing countries and living
conditions. Furthermore, I believe governments of these developing countries should take measures
to counter this trend.
There are many problems when the large number of professionals, such as teachers and doctors,
leave their own poorer countries. A lack of teachers cannot provide high-quality education, which
plays the crucial role in developing the countries. Many industries need a lot of manpower in different
fields, such as information technology or mechatronics, and these poorer countries may not have
enough teachers or those who have expertise to educate. Therefore, lots of industries may face
obstacles and it is more difficult to develop a country, which hinders economic growth. In addition, a
shortage of doctors brings many negative issues, such as the increasing of morality rate, and the
hospitals will be overloaded because of the shortage of staff. Moreover, in the event a pandemic
breaks out, it will lead to health crisis.
There are a number of measures that should be taken to solve this problem. One of the main reasons
they choose to work abroad is more appealing salaries, and therefore the government should offer a
higher pay for the professionals. In addition, they can improve the working conditions. For instance,
investing modern equipment or providing more training program. Limiting brain drain, from which the
economy is developed in a more stable way because it has many people whose bring values to
society. It gives an opportunity for the professional contribute to development their home country.
In conclusion, a lack of doctors and teachers negatively affects the education and healthcare of the
less developed countries. However, I believe that with certain methods, such as improving the salary
and the working conditions, can solve this problem. Despite the fact that they are long-term solutions,
developing countries must try to solve it.
