Nowadays, medical technology has improved, and elder care is one of the most controversial issues

in the world. Every nation must care for a large number of elderly people as a result of medical
technology advancements. This problem has many causes and solutions, which I will discuss in this
essay.

First of all, we need more hospitals, healthcare facilities, doctors, and nursing staff to handle the
increasing number of elderly, as most of a elderly are either bedridden or in wheelchairs. Although
some people can complete daily tasks on their own, the majority of them suffer from long-term
illnesses.

However, we cannot purposely reduce the number of elderly people. As a result, I believe the
government should find ways to contribute to society. For instance, elder can provide a variety of
information to young people. They have more knowledge than young people because they have
lived longer and have seen more things. So, they can teach young people life skills and provide
advice if someone is in trouble. Second, the government must provide childbirth benefits to increase
the birth rate. For example, the government provides a deposit for child care. The burden on the
youth will be reduced if the birth rate rises.

In conclusion, society finds it difficult to manage people with severe illnesses and disabilities. But I
fully believe it is preferable to have appropriate places for people with similar disorders.
