6. Description of Activity:
As part of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) activity
point program we have visited stavanidhi temple (nipani). Tavandi (stavanidhi) is 5ms from Nipani town .
There are 4 jain temple at stavanidhi. Lodging and boarding is available at stavanidhi.

Swachcha Bharath abhiyan is one of the most significant and popular mission
to have taken place in india. It is a great step towards the clean india. The objectives of the swachcha bharat
mission is also included eradication of manual scavenging, generating awareness and bringing about
a behavior change regarding sanitation practices, and augmentation of capacity at the local level. A clean and
well-maintained temple will make visitors feel welcome and comfortable, encouraging them to return in the
future. Religious facilities that are well-maintained also tend to be more respected by the community. This
can help foster a positive relationship between the temple and its neighbors.

The students cleaned the temple premises and the nearby park, along with
the rooftops of the temple. Cleanliness is both the state of being clean and free from germs, dirt, trash, or
waste, and the habit of achieving and maintaining that state. Cleanliness is often achieved through
cleaning. The concept of cleanliness emphasizes an ongoing procedure or set of habits for the purpose of
maintenance and prevention. In this it differs from purity, which is a physical, moral, or ritual state of
freedom from pollutants. Whereas purity is usually a quality of an individual or substance, Cleanliness is also
a characteristic of people who maintain cleanness or prevent dirtying.

We were around 62members with 4faculty coordinators actively participated in this event. We in teams
collected waste plastics, plastic bottles and many unwanted plastic materials from the temple and cleaned the
temple. We also spread the awareness on disposal of waste and how waste affects the human health and well
being.
