Abstraction
The teacher will discuss the lesson.

Technical Definition - refers to a very detailed description of a term, process, or


phenomenon. It often describes what the thing does, how it is used, and to what
purpose.

Example 1;
A computer is a machine or device that performs processes,
calculations and operations based on instructions provided by a software
or hardware program.
Example 2;
 a means of carrying or transporting something.

Operational definition- is a definition of term that explains the process or


procedure by which it is going to be measured or how it is used in your paper.

Example 1:
Computer, is something used in doing home works or browsing the
internet.

Example 2:
Vehicle, that is fully and immediately capable of driving with active
motor vehicle registration and that is not in any wrecked, discarded,
abandoned, or work-in-progress condition

Activity 2.
Directions: Identify whether the following terms are defined as
OPERATIONAL or TECHNICAL. Write your answers in your answer sheet.

1. A triangle is a plane figure bounded by three sides with three angles.


2. Phenylephrine is an adrenergic drug that is a powerful vasoconstrictor
