Presentations are useful tools for communication that can be

applied to demonstrations, lectures, reports, and more.


located at the top in the center of the PowerPoint
window. It displays the name of the presentation
on which you are currently working.
provides you with access to commands you
frequently use. By default, Save, Undo, and
Redo appear on the Quick Access toolbar.

commands you need to work with your slides, and is
designed in a way that helps you quickly find the

40 point is a good size for the title
32 for the subtitle or bullet points and
24 for the contents
Small font sizes can be used for footers.
Colors, it's better to use a color scheme throughout the
presentation
Different styles can be discrediting to the eyes of the
audience. Remember what you present is what's important,
not the way you present it.

Animation. Make sure to be consistent with the animation
that you will use. Different animations can be very
distracting.
Should be related to the message that you
are conveying and can make the message
clearer.
Focus on the important parts and you can use
graphs,charts, and tables to present it too.
Be sure to proofread each slide carefully. In this
way you can notice every small mistake that you
accidentally make, like typos. It will be embarrassing
if you put the wrong info or data in your
presentation.
For each slide, use no more than 7 lines of text or
bullet points and no more than 7 words per line. Slide
titles are excluded if there is any.
Some also use the 8/8 or 6/6 but it depends on
what you will do.

If you have notes in your presentation, they will turn into
text at the top of the screen and you can use them as a
teleprompter as you record.
As for the layout, you can change it by clicking views beside
the camera mode menu.
Any narrations, used colored lasers, pens and
even highlighters will be recorded as well.
Just click next if you will record for a specific
slide.
Narrations won’t record during slide
transitions so let those play first before you
start speaking
To review the video, select the play button.
You can also retake the recording if you’re not
satisfied with the previous recording.
To clear recordings, choose the Select more
options icon and then go to Clear Recordings >
On Current Slide or On All Slides. This will
clear narration, video, and any inking.
After exporting it successfully, you can
view it by clicking view and sharing video
and you're done.

2. Type a word or phrase that will describe the image you search for,
then press the Enter key.
3. You can filter the results by “Type”. The results include photographs,
clipart, line drawing, animated GIF, and more. Select "Clipart" if you

With the photo selected, tap or click the Color button on the
PICTURE TOOLS FORMAT tab to display the color gallery.

Adding an artistic effect to a photo


1. With a photo selected, tap or click the Artistic Effects button on
the PICTURE TOOLS FORMAT tab to display the artistic
effects gallery.
2. Tap or click the desired artistic effect to apply the artistic effect.

Changing the stacking order


1. With the object selected, tap or click the Send Backward button
arrow on the PICTURE TOOLS FORMAT tab to display the
Send Backward menu.
2. Tap or click Send to Back to move the object underneath all
slide objects.
Resizing a placeholder
1. Tap or click the border of the placeholder to select it. Point to
one of the sizing handles.
2. Drag the sizing handle until the placeholder is the desired size

Aligning paragraph text


1. Tap or click somewhere in the paragraph to align to position the
insertion point in the paragraph to be formatted.
2. Tap or click the desired alignment button on the HOME tab in
the paragraph group to align the paragraph.

Moving a placeholder
1. With the placeholder selected, point to an area of the border
between two sizing handles so that the mouse pointer changes
to a four-headed arrow.
2. Drag the placeholder to the desired location.

OK.
