Is it possible to live in a world without toys?

We live in a rapidly changing society that is

increasingly relying on technology. Nowadays, it is not unusual to see a baby holding and using
a smart phone before they can speak.

Is this somehow stealing the childhood of today s children?

There are different points of view on this topic. Some people say that it is what must happen, that
we should evolve and keep up with the technology that surrounds us more and more lately.
Others argue that it steals the magic of childhood. It does not give children the opportunity to
know the simple joys of life, to explore and enjoy the surroundings.

I am a technology fan. I am interested in everything related to innovation and technology, and in

the future, I would like to develop a career in this field. However, I think that in this situation, as
in all others, a balance is needed. While playing online or video games helps you gain insight,
focus, and attention, playing them all the time or exclusively can have several effects.

I also believe that toys play a very important role in somebody’s childhood. Growing up with
toys is great. They are a very reliable source of entertainment for children. Playing with toys and
playing outdoors with friends helps you get more creative, keep your body in good shape, and
experience the wonderful joys of nature.

Thus all kids should experience real life by visiting parks, riding bikes, and going out with
friends.

To sum up, I can say that it is impossible to have a happy childhood without toys, no matter how
much life changes.
