SYNOPSIS: Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.

FORECAST:
The Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies
with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms
due to the Shear Line.

The rest of Visayas, Palawan including


Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro will
have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light
rains due to Northeast Monsoon.

Moderate-strong winds from the Northeast will


prevail over Visayas, Palawan including
Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro
with moderate-rough seas.

III. DISASTER PREPAREDNESS:

PDRRMC/O
- The PDRRMC-OPCEN is continuously monitoring the weather situation in the whole
province
- Providing weather updates and information dissemination using social media to the Public
- PDRRMO coordinates with the C/MDRRMOs by means of Unified Command radio
frequency or social media to obtain real-time updates on their respective AOR
- All CERT personnel and other Response Units are on standby in case of possible
deployment
- C/MDRRMOs are continuously monitoring their respective AOR

MAAYON MDRRMO
- Response team and MDRRMO staff are on standby
- Continuously monitoring AOR.
- As of January 30, 2023, classes in all levels, both Private and Public Schools in the
municipality of Pontevedra, Capiz have been suspended due to light to moderate
occasional heavy rains.

MAMBUSAO MDRRMO
- Continuously monitoring of water level
- Continuous monitoring and close coordination of BDRRMCs

PANITAN MDRRMO
- Continuous monitoring of weather and situation.
- Conducted water level monitoring of Panitan Bridge.
- EOC Activation

PANAY MDRRMO
- Continuous monitoring of weather and situation.
- Conducted water level monitoring at Agbalo River & Tico River Control.
- As of 1 pm on January 30, 2023, the Panay LGU declared suspension of classes in all
levels both public and private schools.

ROXAS CDRRMO
- BDRRMCs have been alerted.
- Continuous monitoring and updating of weather status.
- Rivers, bridges, and creeks are being closely monitored as well as the water levels in
nearby municipalities.

PRESIDENT ROXAS MDRRMO


- As of 1 pm on January 30, 2023, Municipality of President Roxas declared suspension of
class to elementary and secondary levels both private and public until further notice.
- Hourly weather and water level monitoring of 22 Barangays
- Ocular assessment conducted in flood-prone areas
- Response personnel and MDRRMO staffs are on standby for possible deployment

PONTEVEDRA MDRRMO
- On January 30, 2023, the Municipality of Pontevedra declared suspension of classes in all
levels both private and public schools.

AOR.
