Introduction to different types of maps; basics of creation and publishing of
Course Goal web map services; UX concepts for design and interaction; principles of
development, publishing and sharing of web apps.

Learning Outcomes On the completion of this course, students should be able to:
- explain and describe different map types based on their purpose (static
maps and interactive web maps)
- create, publish and manage web maps
- design maps based on the principles of classification, symbolization
and visual combination
- design maps as a reference frames based on the concepts of UX
- design and implement storymaps with interactive features
- develop, publish and share simple web apps based on UX design
principles
