DISTRIBUTION OF JOBS BY REGION: (Discrete Bernoulli Distribution)

since the region of Casablanca -Settat represents 29,54% of jobs in
morocco; so the probability of getting a job in it, it's the same 29,54%
and the probability of getting a job in other regions is 70,46%.

p = 0.2954 X=1

P (X) = X B (29.54)
q = 1-p = 0.7046 X=0

the probability of X=10% and X=35%.

we use the following formula to calculate the probabilities in Bernoulli distribution:

P(x)=P q x 1−x
P(X=0.1) = 0,1
p q
1−0,1
= 0,2954 × 0,7046
0.1 0,9
≈ 0,646

P(X=0.35) = p
0,35
q
1−0,35
= 0,2954 × 0,7046
0.35 0,65
≈ 0,52
The expected value:

E(X) = p
E(X) = 0,2954
The variance:

V(X) = p × q

V(X) = 0,2954 × 0,7046 = 0,2

Standard deviation :
σ =√ V (X ) = √ 0,2 ≈ 0,447
II. THE EXPERIENCE OF ONLINE SHOPPING: (binomial distribution)

in order to rate the experience of online shopping

in morocco we take as an example the site of Jumia.
Jumia is one of the most popular online marketplaces in
our country that connect sellers and buyers.
In a website called Trustpilot, 6% of reviews have
rated it as a good experience, meanwhile, the others
have rated it as a bad one.
Source: https://fr.trustpilot.com/review/jumia.ma
p = 0,06 positive reviews X (n,p)

X ( 1O , 0.06 )
q = (1-p) = 0,94 negative reviews

we take randomly a sample of 10 reviews:

1. the probability of getting less than 2 positive reviews.
2. the probability of getting more than 2 positive reviews.
3. the probability of getting 3 positive reviews.
4. the expected value, the variance and standard deviation.
the probability of getting less than 2 positive reviews:

P(X=k)=C k
n
k
p q
n−k
P(x≤2) = P(x=0) + P(x=1)+ P(x=2)
=(C O

0
p q
10
)+( C 1
10
1
p q
9

)
=(C O
10 0.060 0.94 10 )+( C 1
10 0.061 0.94 9 )+(C 2
10 0.062 0.94 8 )
= 0.98
the probability of getting more than 2 positive reviews:
P(x¿2) = 1 - P(x≤2)
= 1 - [ P( x=0)+ P(x=1)+ P(x=2)]
= 1 – 0.98 = 0.02
the probability of getting 3 positive reviews:
P(X=3) = 3
C 10 0.063 0.94 7 ≈ 0.0169

The expected value:

E(X) = np
E(X) = 10 × 0.06 = 0.6

The variance:
V(X)= n p (1-p)

V(X) = 10 × 0.06 × 0.94 = 0.564

Standard deviation :

σ =√ V (X ) = √ 0.564 = 0.7501
III. GNI (Gross National Income) per capita: (Uniform Distribution)

Morocco remains in the lower bracket of middle-income

countries in the new World Bank ranking, This classification
is based on the GNI (Gross National Income) per capita of
the previous year (2020 in this case) in current dollars.
the GNI / capita was between 1036 and 4045
in USD as of JULY 2020.

3. the probability that the GNI per capita is less than 2000:
2000−1036
P(X≤ 2000) = P(1036≤ X ≤ 2000) = F(2000) = 3009
≈ 0.32 = 32%

4. the probability that the GNI per capita is greater than 3000:
4045−3000
P(X≥3000) = P(3000≤ X ≤ 4045)= 3009 = 0.3473

5. the probability that 2000≤X≤3400 :

P(c ≤X≤d) =

b−a

P(2000≤X≤ 3400) =
3400−2000
3009 = 0.465 = 46.5%

6. the expected value:

E(X) =

E(X) = 2 = 2540.5
7.the variance:
V(X) = (b−a)²

( 4045−1036) ²
V(X) = 12 = 754506.75
8. standard deviation:
σ =√ V (X ) = √ 754506.75 = 868.62

“INTELAKA” program to support and finance businesses

(Exponential Distribution)
Following the launch of the “INTELAKA” program to support and finance
businesses, presented and signed to King Mohamed VI, a trust account,
entitled “support fund for the financing of entrepreneurship”, was set
up. in place within the framework of the 2020 finance law. The said fund
has an envelope of 6 billion DH spread over a period of 3 years, and
financed in equal parts by the State and the banking sector. For the
program, it revolves around three main axes, namely the financing of
entrepreneurship, the coordination of support and accompaniment
actions for entrepreneurship at the regional level and the financial
inclusion of rural populations.
