When talking about sport, most people immediately think about physical
strength. However, other people have a belief that mental strength is more
important. In my opinion, physical strength has a big effect on your mental
strength, while good mental strength can help in building a healthy body, so
both things are necessary to play sport. The two statements are discussed in the
following paragraph.
On one hand, good physical strength is the first thing everyone needs to
ensure if they want to play sport. Most sports usually take place as matches
between two or more people and the people who play them have to stay active
and vivacious for about an hour. That means the better physical strength you
have, the more fun you get.
On the other hand, good mental strength help sports player to become more
agile, flexible, and creative during the match. Moreover, some sports require
more mental strength than physical strength like chess, shooting, and archery. In
the training time, mental toughness is important to help ignore the unpleasant
feelings in order to reach your limit and raise the bar.
In conclusion, both mental strength and physical strength are important in
sport. However, mental or physical strength may be more important depending
on what kind of sport you play and what you are lack.
