Research Question (answer cannot be known): Does the color a person is wearing affect
their mood?
Hypothesis: I think wearing vibrant colors or neutrals will cause a person to a person’s
self-esteem to be higher and at ease. In contrast wearing darker colors can bring a
person’s self-esteem down.
Variables
Independent (conditions that you will change in the experiment):
1. The color a person is wearing throughout the day.

Control Experiment (if any): wearing vibrant colors such vibrant pink and green can make
someone feel good in their own skin.
Materials:
Family, myself, friends, notepad, clothing

Method:
By utilizing different sense of clothing colors, we can determine that person’s mood or
have a sense of understanding the situation that person is going through.
Diagram (graphically represent how you will record results from your experiment):
utilize a table that tracks the high mood, low mood, and or normal.
And pie chart of how many individuals believe that colors affect the mood and how they
perceive themselves in society.
Expected Time (less than 1 week, but 3 days minimum): three days
