MATINA LINEAR PARK

This was one of the initiatives of the City
Government of Davao to increase green spaces
and combat urban heat island. This was under
the Green Green Green Program of the
Government.

PROBLEM
The space is not properly utilized for its
purpose as its not properly planned to
support recreational activities. People also
do not use it as commuting axis because of
the direct heat of the sun
