RATIONALE Conduct of the 2022 DRRM Division –Wide Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity

Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 250, s. 2022 of the Division of Leyte the
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management will hold the DRRM Division-Wide
Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity on June 25,2022, at 3;00 PM in connection with the
Arbor Day Celebration in the Philippines.
The activity aims to raise awareness in the community about the importance of
planting and saving trees, express our concern for the environment, and diminish the
unfavorable effects of climate change. The Malibago National High School teachers and
students in cooperation of some stakeholders participated in the DRRM Division-Wide
Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity last Saturday, June 25, 2022.
