    A NARRATIVE REPORT ON 2022 BRIGADA ESKWELA

    Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. This quotation from Hellen
    Keller was proven to be true throughout the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2022 as Cauayan
    City National High School – Marabulig Extension made preparations for the school year
    2022-2023.

    The theme, Brigada Eskwela: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral”, highlighted


    the country’s collective efforts from various partnership engagements in the local and
    national level to address learning gaps and social issues, moreover, to create a safe learning
    environment for the learners, teaching and nonteaching personnel, and communities for the
    achievement of qualities basic education.

    The school’s maintenance and repair activities included cleaning, painting/repainting,


    gardening, pruning of trees, grass cutting, doing minor repairs, and the provision of the
    immediate needs of classrooms – all in adherence with the most recent safety and health
    protocols issued by DepEd.

    With the collective efforts from stakeholders and volunteers, the school was able to
    maintain its functionality ready for the opening of classes on August 22 and reopening of
    face-to-face instruction on November 2, 2022.

    Project BUKLAT, in response to Brigada Pagbasa, was implemented as a form of


    Brigada Eskwela, serving as a platform to synergize education-related endeavors that
    immediately addresses literacy and numeracy learning gaps.

    Various advocacies were also instigated as part of the BE including Project PLUS,
    Project GROW, Project GGSP and Project PUNLA.
