Kabataan” to be held at Maria Cristina National High School Gymnasium this coming March 14, 2022,
8:00 in the morning. The said program is intended for those identified learners affected by the recent
calamity.

PROJECT NAME: “Marians: Magtutulungan para sa Kinabukasan ng Kabataan”

II. RATIONALE:
Sharing is an act of self-gratification. It is a way of expressing our love. It strengthens
human connections and builds relationships especially in down times. The social value of
sharing has been recognized throughout the years. It’s a way of saying that they are
important and loved.
Sharing and giving is evident every second in our life not only during Christmas season
but most especially during calamity. Iligan City experienced a 2-day continuous rain that
caused flood and landslide specifically in our Barangay.
This community outreach project entitles “Marians: Magtutulungan para Kinabukasan ng
Kabataan” is a voluntary charity work of our department which aims to;
 spread the goodness of bringing smile and hope to our learners and families.
 strengthen the DepEd core values Maka- Diyos, Maka- Tao, Maka-Kalikasan at Maka-
Bansa
This is the best time to teach ourselves and community the value of sharing to the less
fortunate and victims of calamity. This can make a difference to the lives of these people for
having this kind of program even in a short period of time.

III. PROJECT PURPOSE
This project proposes to;

1. Participate in a charity work that may enhance the DepEd core values. It is not how much
we receive but how much we give and make other people happy.
2. Strengthen the colleague’s creative participation in the promotion and preservation of
social values and impart to them that true selflessness does exist.
3. Instill among our friends, colleagues and learners the value of giving and sharing that are
uniquely, genuinely and positively Filipino.
IV. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
“Marians: Magtutulungan para Kinabukasan ng Kabataan” is a community outreach program which aims
to provide affected learners and their families an any kind of assistance such as cash, in-kind or goods.
This activity will be held on March 14,2022 at Maria Cristina National High School at 8:00 am through
the initiative of science department teachers.
This activity will be participated by teachers, GPTA, SSG officers, and learners affected by the 2-day
flood.
V. PLANNED ACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES

VII- EXPECTED OUTPUTS AND EFFECTS AND ITS OUTCOMES
Through this project, the selected beneficiaries will enjoy and appreciate the gift that they
received. They will realize that they can still move forward despite of the calamity they experienced and
remember that there are people willing to share and give for others. That it is not how much they
received but how other people give value and share their love and blessings to others.
On the part of the SSG Club officers, the students will realize the real essence of giving and
sharing. Through their little ways, it will be remarkable to these people and maybe the starting point of
much bigger celebration of love not only during this season but in everyday lives.
