In my community their are many things that can be considered as

contemporary art and the example of that is our free standing Jose
Rizal in Badas Elementary School it is considered as a contemporary art
'cause it exist until now Essentially, the free standing Jose Rizal is a tribute
to the martyrdom of a great man, who, though wrongly accused, accepted his
fate as a glorious opportunity to offer his life for his sad, beloved country,
though the privilege was not his alone. It related to contemporary art because
the term contemporary art is the art of present day. Usually the artists are
alive. Contemporary art is often about ideas and concerns, rather than solely
the aesthetic (the look of the work). Artists try different ways of
experimenting with ideas and materials.
