9.Karaoke Listening a song and you can sing this.

10.Heater To heat a water.

1. Read and study the PowerPoint Presentation on the History of Science and
technology in the World; Ancient, Middle and Modern Ages (see attachment 1)
2. Using the space provided, describe briefly how science and technology
evolved during each period

Ancient Ages-In this time, technology was defined by Homer and Hesiod
as the spoken word of Manuel craft cunning skill (Luna, 1994). The Greek term
technologies was coined by Aristotle and split scientific knowledge into three
parts; Theoretical science, practical and productive science (technology).

Middle Ages- In this Ages, the period saw major technological advances,
including the adoption of gunpowder, the invention of vertical windmills,
spectacles, and mechanical clocks, and greatly improved water mills, building
techniques and agriculture in general. The flow is considered to be oldest
technologies developed in this time.

Modern Ages- The modern era includes the early period, called the early
modern period, which lasted from 1500 present. The Modern period covers
human history from the creation of a more global network.

1. Read and review “A History of Science and Technology in the Philippines” by
Olivia C. Caoili (see attachment )
2. Using the space provided below, create a timeline highlighting the major
discoveries and development in science and technology during each period.

Filipinos made simple tools or weapons of stone flakes for about


40,000 years but eventually develop technique for sewing, drilling and
polishing hard stone. Gradually the early Filipinos learned to make tools and
implement copper gold, bronze and later iron.
Analysis:
On your own words, what makes technology good or bad for us? Write your answer on

ANS:
Nowadays, Technology is very useful to us specially to the students. It makes our life
easier. For example, in communicating other people or our relatives in very far place.
Technology is their to locate them by chatting or video call. But in other hands,
technology also give us a harmful or bad effect like the famous online games named
Mobile legends (ML). Many students are addicting on it. They didn’t focus to their
studies. By that, their studies are destruct.

Application:

ANS:
My reaction or impression of our life today with the advancement in science and
technology was happy because I can do whatever I want. As a student I am one of it.
Technology is useful to my online class because if there are subjects or topics that I
didn’t familiar, I can search it by using technology. My use of technology is limited
because when it”s too much my eyes and head are hurts. I know that technology is very
useful to us but it also has a bad effect on our health.
