College 9

Hi! I hope you have all had a fantastic day or night. We’re back with the passion
blogs, and I chose to try something new. At first, I was talking about trying new
foods or restaurants at Penn State, but now I am changing a little bit from
trying new foods and restaurants to trying new things and having new
experiences at Penn State. This blog will now obligate me to try something new
at least once a week.

I don’t know about you, but having new experiences in my life is a big deal. I
am curious about everything, and no matter what it is, I want to do it at least
once. Since coming to Penn State, I have wanted to do everything I’ve seen, and
my first-year seminar class helped me do exactly that by having assignments
due every week about doing something new around campus. Since I’m not in
that class anymore, I made it a thing to force myself and do something new at
least every week.

I’ve gone to many places, but the one I want to talk about first is College 9. I
actually went yesterday. What is College 9? A movie theatre off-campus. At
first, I didn’t know which theatre to choose so I went with whichever and it was
this one. Since then, I haven’t changed to try another one, and honestly, I don’t
think I will.

 The theatre is a whole vibe. From the outside, it’s like an old theatre which
gives you a vibe when you walk in. Also, the workers are really nice, and the
popcorn is extremely good. I really recommend going; it’s a fun time with
friends and a new experience at state college, or at least trying out a new movie
theatre.

College 9 has the best seats to watch movies. They go all the way back and are
like beds. They have the most comfortable seats ever. They even fit two people.
For some weird reason, when I went with my friends, we tried fitting two
people in one chair; I don’t know, don’t ask why.

Also, they have every movie I have wanted to watch that is in the common
movie theatres or at least in Puerto Rican movie theatres. Yesterday I went and
watched avatar with a friend. Really good movie, and my friend almost fell
asleep because of how long the movie was and how comfortable the seats were.

Once again, I really recommend going to College 9 if you haven’t gone to have
that new experience and at the same time have fun with friends. Or, honestly,
just go alone; who cares? No one.

I hope you like the blog. I will keep on doing many things. I want to come with
many exciting stories for you guys and motivate many of you to try new things
around Penn State. I am very hyper, so I always need to be doing something;
this is a good way to start that.
