1. What is the Main purpose of Arbitration System in the Philippines? Cite significant concept
why is there a need for its existence. (10 pts.)

- To offer fair and effective alternatives to the country's traditional judicial system for the
resolution of disputes is the major goal of the arbitration system.

2. What is the significant difference between Arbitration and Mediation? (5 pts.)

- The role of the third party, the kind of judgment, the level of formality, and the cost are
the key distinctions between arbitration and mediation. While arbitration is a more formal
and adjudicative procedure, mediation is a more collaborative and casual method.

3. Is there a need of Restorative Justice in the Philippine Justice System? Explain your answers
well. (10 pts.)

- Indeed, the Philippine justice system has to incorporate restorative justice. A type of
justice known as restorative justice focuses on mending the harm brought on by a
crime or dispute. Between the victim, the perpetrator, and the community, it places a
strong emphasis on healing and reconciliation.

4. What do you mean by the word Re-integration in the Restorative Justice System? (5 pts.)

- The practice of aiding persons who have hurt others to reintegrate into their community
or society after taking responsibility for their actions and making an effort to make
apologies is known as restorative justice. Re-integration comprises providing the
individual with support and tools to help them address any underlying issues, such as
addiction or mental health issues, that contributed to their destructive conduct and to
learn the skills and knowledge they will need to go on to have a good effect on their
community.

5. If you were a victim of a heinous crime, would you able to forgive the offender if ask to do so
as part of the Restorative Justice System of the Philippine Criminal Justice System? Explain your
answers well. (10 pts.)

- My capacity to forgive the perpetrator if I were the victim of a terrible crime would
depend on a number of variables and the particulars of the incident. It's crucial to
remember that forgiveness does not always imply forgetting or tolerating the hurt that
was done, since this can hinder healing and future progress.
